Rental Rates

Cypress View Foundation provides Independent and Assisted Living accommodations for seniors. Eligibility is determined by both household income and individual needs. Applicants must meet the Alberta Government’s income thresholds, which are updated annually.

Rent is assessed on a case-by-case basis and calculated according to income, helping to ensure housing remains affordable for all residents. Cypress View Foundation is committed to supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our residents by offering the most suitable level of housing based on each individual’s unique circumstances.

To qualify for residency applicants must be 65 years of age or older.

Rent is calculated by:

  • Rent and subsidy eligibility amounts are calculated based on the total annual income as reflected on Line 15000 of the most recent Notice of Assessment.

Rent is calculated on an individual basis according to income, ensuring affordability for all residents.

Accomodation Rates

Rent is calculated on an individual basis according to income. Applicants are required to submit their current Notice of Assessment in order to calculate their rent.

Income Thresholds

Apartment applicants whose income (line 150 of current Notice of Assessment) is above the Provincial Income Threshold will not qualify.

Lodge and Supportive Living residents whose income meets or exceeds the most recent subsidy income threshold will pay maximum rent.

Waiting List

Our waiting list follows the regulations set by the Government of Alberta and prioritizes individuals based on their level of need.
