Cypress View Foundation is an Independent/Assisted Living Building. We offer three distinct living options to suit your needs and lifestyle. Each option provides unrestricted access to our wide range of amenities, ensuring you can live the worry-free life you’ve worked so hard to earn.

Cypress View Foundation aims to ensure that residents reside in the most appropriate housing level according to their individual needs and for the purposes of ensuring their health, safety, and the effective delivery of healthcare and personal services.

Optional for all residents:

Supportive Living

Rent geared to income
Maximum Rent: $2366

Our Supportive Living accommodations provide a continued active lifestyle with personal care support available 24/7. This option is ideal for those who require more care than what is offered in Lodge living. 

Must be referred by Alberta Health Services Home Care and must meet our eligibility criteria before residency approval.

Lodge living allows you to maintain your independence while enjoying delicious meals, weekly housekeeping services, and a full range of activities. This friendly, home-like setting is perfect for both singles and couples, with a variety of room options to suit your needs.

Our Lodge Living is self-referral, meaning you or your loved ones can directly apply for residency without needing a referral from a healthcare provider.

Apartments

30% of Monthly Income
Maximum Rent: $1025

Our spacious one-bedroom apartments feature a three-piece bath, living area, and a complete kitchen for making all your favorite home-cooked meals. Enjoy the best features of home with added benefits like access to all activities, privacy, and security.

Our Apartments are self-referral, meaning you or your loved ones can directly apply for residency without needing a referral from a healthcare provider.

Accomodation Rates

Rent is calculated on an individual basis according to income, ensuring affordability for all residents.

To qualify for residency, applicants must be 65 years or older and meet the low-income threshold as defined by the Alberta government. Provincial guidelines stipulate that rent can be no more than 30% of an individual’s annual income, with a minimum disposable income of $360 per month.

Accomodation Rates

Rent is calculated on an individual basis according to income. Applicants are required to submit their current Notice of Assessment in order to calculate their rent.

Waiting List

Our waiting list follows the regulations set by the Government of Alberta and prioritizes individuals based on their level of need.
