The Cypress View Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides affordable senior housing and corresponding services, for those in greatest need, in an efficient, effective and caring manner.
We are a non-profit organization, situated in Medicine Hat, Alberta, that exists primarily to provide supportive social housing for low to moderate-income seniors. It also provides some housing to a few individuals less than 65 years of age who are unable to manage independently on their own. The Cypress View Foundation provides housing to persons who, because of financial, social or other circumstances, require assistance to obtain housing.

Partners in Injury Reduction Certificate of Recognition (COR). A COR indicates that an employer has implemented a health and safety program that is compliant with the standards established by their Certifying Partner and Alberta Human Resources and Employment.
The Cypress View Foundation has been providing affordable housing for low to moderate-income seniors since 1960. The Foundation consists of 4 wings within 1 complex.
45 Supportive Living Level 3 Care Beds: funded by Alberta Health Services, the City of Medicine Hat, Town of Redcliff and the Cypress County. Managed by the Board of Directors of the Cypress View Foundation.
Located on 5 acres of land in N.W. Crescent Heights, the Cypress View Foundation overlooks the City of Medicine Hat and the Cypress Hills.
Types Of Housing
The self-contained apartments are primarily social housing for seniors who are still able to maintain an independent lifestyle. The Cypress View Foundation provides optional meal services for seniors living in the apartments. The Self-Contained Apartments are located on the 3rd through 6th floors of the Teeoda Wing.
The lodge accommodation allows seniors the opportunity to maintain independence without requiring nursing or home care. This includes activities, meals, cleaning, and laundry services. We attempt to provide a home-like atmosphere. Lodge Accommodations are located in the Cypress View Wing, Wild Rose Wing, and the 1st and 2nd floors of the Teeoda Wing.
The supportive living wing contains 45 rooms for seniors who require assistance with their daily medical and personal care. Meals, portering, med administration, housekeeping, laundry services and an activity program is provided in a home-like atmosphere. The supportive living wing, Sunrise Vista, provides Health Care Aide staff 24 hours per day.
